INTRODUCTION

For nearly 30 years, Youth Frontiers has been partnering with schools to build positive communities where students and educators feel connected and take ownership to make their schools better places. Every day on retreat, Youth Frontiers tells students and educators that they matter and inspires them to act with character. We aim to take our mission beyond school walls and straight to your community, organization or business. As a trusted resource for character development, we combine research with practical application – weaving personal stories and humor throughout our events to deliver an engaging and inspiring message.

TOPICS

Reflective Leadership – Today’s technology affords us many freedoms and perks that have benefitted our lives and businesses, but it has also robbed us of precious reflection time. Time to think and take stock of our personal values and intentions is a critical component of positive leadership and essential to a thriving community. In this interactive, dynamic and entertaining keynote, Joe will share stories and strategies that will help you prioritize reflection in your life and in your work.

Parenting – Over the last 30 years, we’ve learned a lot about what works with kids. On Youth Frontiers retreats, we take kids on a wild ride throughout the day – from meeting cheering high school students as they walk into the room, to large-group activities, to quiet reflection and sharing time – all in an effort to create a strong community, build personal connections and challenge kids to think critically about their personal character. In this keynote, Joe will share with you the three key lessons we’ve learned over the past three decades that will translate to your family so that you can nurture community, connection and character in your home.
