Conference Kick-Off Keynote

AN ENTERTAINING PRESENTATION THAT WILL ENERGIZE AND INSPIRE YOUR STAFF.

Educators face ever growing challenges to help students achieve academically, while at the same time, creating a healthy social environment for them to thrive in. According to the National Commission on Teaching and America's Future, on average, at each school site there's a 16% teacher turnover per year; of these 16%, half change schools, while the other half leave the profession entirely. An astonishing 50% of new teachers leave the profession within the first five years. We believe it's time to start a new national initiative: leave no educator behind.

This one-hour interactive keynote experience will inspire and energize your staff to do just that. Joe Cavanaugh, Founder & CEO of Youth Frontiers, along with a Youth Frontiers musician, will remind educators of the power of the education profession, and their unique ability to not just teach history and math, but to help develop young people in their character. Through music, humor, and powerful stories, educators will be reminded of why they first joined the profession, and learn some key tools to help cope with the too often under-valued experience of teaching. Educators will leave revitalized and ready to take on the next challenge.
