The Youth Frontiers Responsibility Retreat is a unique opportunity to set the tone for leadership in your school. This program challenges a select group of Juniors to examine their daily choices, reflect on their leadership role, as well as giving them time to prepare for the challenges ahead as they become Seniors. It inspires your students to step up and take responsibility for a culture of respect in their school and recognize not only who they are, but what they can become.

Every Youth Frontiers retreat includes a dynamic mix of activities, designed to have the greatest possible impact on participants. Our schedules have been refined through years of contact with more than a million students and educators. Listed below is the general outline of the retreat experience.

• Welcome and group-building activities
• Introduction to the theme of the day
• Individual reflection: What are some problems that exist in your school?
• Small-group discussion: processing time
• Large-group activity
• Presentation: topic-based talk
• Individual reflection: What are some solutions to the problems you thought of?
• Partner activity: Planning the next steps
• Large-group activity
• Closing: participants commit to take action based on the day's retreat topic
