Fun Summer Activities for Your Family

As temperatures rise, it’s tempting to turn up the air conditioning and plop yourself in front of a fan and not do much else. However, summer is a great time to try some fun activities that allow you to spend some quality time with the family. In order to escape the heat, I enjoy spending time on one of our 10,000 lakes here in Minnesota with my wife and eight-year-old daughter. There are so many options for families with young children. 10-Second Connection

Every year, I have the chance to get out of the office and lead a handful of Youth Frontiers retreats. Whenever I’m on retreat, teachers and administrators comment on how great it is that I get the kids to talk to me.
