What I’m Thankful For

Thanksgiving is a time for me to press the pause button. Often, my life feels too full and it seems like I’m just rushing off from one thing to another. I have to remind myself to take the time to stop and reflect on what’s good and working well in my life. I need to take the time to be thankful.

And while I could make a long list of all the big and little things I’m thankful for, I want to focus on just one today – my family. They are the light that guides me when life is too hectic. And through their love and support, I feel grounded. I look forward to our time together this Thanksgiving, which will hopefully be full of good food, laughter and meaningful conversation.

My challenge for you is to take a break from the turkey and pause to think about what you’re thankful for and share it with those in your life. Be thankful for this moment, this day and the people you’re with. Happy Thanksgiving.
