About Youth Frontiers

On our student retreats, we help teach young people to interact with others respectfully and responsibly and find the courage to stand up for what is right. Through our educator programs and our community experiences, we support the adults who are fostering the character development of our next generation of leaders every day. With the partnership of these education, business and civic leaders, we inspire kids to live with character and to build a better world for all. In our 34 years, we have reached more than 2 million young people and adults with our powerful experiences.
When the pandemic brought our in-person retreats to a halt, we had a choice to make: wait or innovate. As the need for character and community grew, we got to work. We created new programs to reach young people at critical crossroads, to renew exhausted educators, and to ground leaders of all ages in character. These new programs enabled us to continue serving our community during the pandemic and will broaden and deepen our mission’s impact when we start offering in-person retreats again next fall.
