COVID-19 Precautions

Youth Frontiers COVID-19 Precautions Policy

Updated on August 23, 2022

Youth Frontiers will endeavor to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Departments of Health in the states in which we hold our programs. YF Staff will also do their best to accommodate any additional COVID-19 precautionary measures clients may require.

YF staff are strongly encouraged to test for COVID-19 each week they are scheduled to facilitate a retreat. If YF staff test positive for COVID-19, they may return to work with us on retreat 1) after five days if asymptomatic and testing negative, or 2) 10 days from their first day of symptoms or their positive test, whichever occurred first. YF Staff must be fever-free for at least 24 hours to return to work. Youth Frontiers will pay for testing.

Youth Frontiers will endeavor to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Departments of Health in the states in which we hold our programs. When in areas of high community transmission (as defined by the CDC COVID-19 County Check), Youth Frontiers Programs Staff (hereafter “YF Staff”) will remain socially distanced when possible and wear masks. YF Staff will also do their best to accommodate any additional COVID-19 precautionary measures clients may require. In areas of low community transmission, YF Staff will endeavor to follow school policy. If masks are not mandatory, YF Staff will choose to uniformly wear or not wear masks.

Youth Frontiers will endeavor to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Departments of Health in the states in which we hold our programs. We will also abide by any additional COVID-19 requirements provided by our clients for any on-site programs we conduct at those locations. Many of our staff are vaccinated. Any staff who are not vaccinated must present a negative COVID-19 test each week they are scheduled to facilitate a Youth Frontiers program. Unvaccinated staff will wear masks and remain socially distant for the duration of the time they are at the site of the program. Vaccinated staff may also wear masks should they choose to do so, or should client policy require it.
