Meaningful connection. Mission impact.
That’s our kind of partnership.
Did you know that last year more than 63,500 students, educators and leaders across our community committed to living with more character and to making a positive difference? Do you know what made that change possible? Dedicated partners, just like you!
Our expanded menu of offerings has amplified the number of opportunities for our corporate partners to engage directly in our mission and create lasting, character-driven impact in the communities where their employees learn, live and work.

For over 35 years, Youth Frontiers has been inspiring character, civility and community through our dynamic retreats, first for students, then for the important adults in their lives — the parents, educators and leaders who are shaping our shared world.
In each of our programs, we equip youth and adults alike with the common language of character and challenge them to live with greater courage, kindness, responsibility and respect. Since 1987, we have reached more than 2 million people with our powerful programs.
The Kindness Retreat empowers kids to be “everyday heroes” by using kindness to include others, to be respectful and to make their school a better place for all.
The Courage Retreat inspires students to use moral courage to do the right thing — to follow their heart instead of the crowd — and make responsible decisions despite their fears.
The Respect Retreat is a day for students to experience what school would be like if everyone was respected, and to challenge them to respect themselves and others.
The Wisdom Retreat is a reflective day for seniors to gain healthy closure on their high school years together and be challenged to finish the year with respect and care.
Character Academy is a cohort-style experience that guides young adults through personal developement work to equip them with the character tools they need to navigate the sometimes challenging road of life.
The Honor Retreat is a community-building experience that fosters relational trust by transforming school staff into a cohesive team that values and honors each other and the mission of their school.
The Purpose Retreat helps staff feel renewed and recommitted to their vocation, fostering their students’ academic success and making a positive difference in students’ lives.
Everybody knows that carbon (C), hydrogen (H), nitrogen (N) and oxygen (O) are basic elements — the building blocks of life. In this dynamic series, we explore the building blocks of an engaged educator’s life: perspective (Pe), curiosity (Cu), compassion (Co), purpose (Ps) and gratitude (Gr). Whether educators attend a selection or all five workshops, they’ll get a chance to connect, reflect and learn how practicing these life-giving elements can support and sustain them in their important work with young people.
In Geometry of a Leader (GOAL), participants will learn practical ways to be present to the people they serve, humble enough to solicit the wisdom of others and courageous enough to follow their vision despite the cost.
Parent Academy is an interactive program where participants will learn strategies for raising kids who are strong, responsible and who know they are precious, not perfect.
Join Youth Frontiers for a dynamic discussion about character-driven leadership and the future of our community.
Over a shared meal with a room full of local leaders, we’ll celebrate the power of bringing voices together to speak the common language of character and explore the transformative, yet often overlooked idea that who you are is just as important as what you lead — especially in challenging times.
We’re thrilled to announce that the following community leaders will join us for a panel discussion on character-driven leadership. Each brings a wealth of experience and insight:
Katie Lawler, Executive Vice President & Global Chief Ethics Officer, U.S. Bank
Mohamed Sallam, President & CEO, Wallin Education Partners
Stacie Stanley, Superintendent, St. Paul Public Schools
